december 2016 design challenge

december 2016 design challenge

With the year coming to an end, so, too, do the monthly 2016 creative design challenges hosted by Dry Gulch Beads. This december installment will be the last, and consists of a cheery, festive, bright palette …

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, there didn’t seem to be enough time to create a new piece to submit for the challenge, although I did notice that a necklace designed for a previous Bead Peeps Swap n Hop seemed to match the palette quite well (with the replacement of one bead!), so I would like to include it for this month’s submission

This necklace is made from a madascar sunset moth focal piece by Debra Jeffries and features the colours represented in the challenge … candied orange, rudolph’s nose, frosty the snowman, he’s a mean one mr. grinch, and sugar plum fairy.

Thank you so much to the hosts of this challenge – Dry Gulch Beads! It has been a fun and challenging year and I look forward to what they may come up with in the future!

Until then …

Best Wishes for a Happy New Year, and see you soon!
