Did you know ... ?

Labradorite was discovered in the late 1700's and was named after the region of Labrador (Isle of Paul, near Nain, Labrador) in Canada where the stone was first found.

It was believed that the iridescent stones hailed from the frozen fires of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and were thought to represent the temple of the Stars, providing access to the subconscious, cosmic knowledge, and the Akashic Records.

With its pearly hues that shimmer in a range of iridescent blues and greens, the Labradorite crystal is meant to remind one to keep it magical by linking to the spirit world, a dimension where anything is possible. Other stones keep one anchored to the earth with their powerful grounding effects while Labradorite reminds and encourages us to go outside, and look up at the stars. ✨
