Yesterday was definitely a good luck day 
A package of highly anticipated supplies arrived, and they are more beautiful than could have been imagined!
After first setting eyes on Niky Sayer‘s amazing coin clasp (shown here in the 2014 Bead Soup Blog Party mix) … I’ve had it in my head to convince her make some for me using the now-out-of-circulation Canadian Penny. The Canadian Mint ceased distributing them in February of 2013, and I have been collecting the little copper currency, in hopes of having that vision turned into a reality. And yesterday it did.
How gorgeous are the hand painted clasps and penny beads?!
Thanks to the tremendous response to the wrap bracelet I made for the 2014 Bead Soup Blog Party, my idea is to turn these beauties into Canadian wrap bracelets!
