September 2016 design challenge

Is it that time already? We are well into September, so that must mean that it is time for another edition of Dry Gulch Beads‘ monthly design challenge!

This month’s palette contains such beautiful muted, vintage colours …

khaki, honeydew melon, pencil lead, vintage coral and flax

The piece I am submitting is part of a collection I’ve been working on lately – incorporating other artisan’s creations along with my own. In the spirit of vintage/days gone by … this necklace centres around a double sided copper & resin pendant made by Jennifer Tough. It has a different image on the front and back (which – between both sides, contain all of the lovely colours above!), and is paired up with flame kissed copper components and ultra micro fibre suede cord.
