Ooooo … scary! Halloween is just around the corner (how did THAT happen already?!) and Dry Gulch Beads is once again hosting their creative design challenge – celebrating this month with a wonderful colour palette of October-inspired hues.
I have been working on a brand new collection of mini steampunk-ish mixed-metal book and journal pendant necklaces and am offering the first sneak peek right here with this submission …
A flame-kissed brass blank was used to create the cover of this little sunburst journal – incorporating the fall colours – “Vintage Candy Corn”, “Ichabod’s Pumpkin”, “Little Black Cat”, “Woo Hoo Witchy Woman” and “the Thriller”, and “Skeletons in the Closet” … for the blank pages inside!
