February 2016 colour design challenge

February 2016 colour design challenge

It’s time for Dry Gulch Beads February Color Design Challenge !

Shabby and sweet is the theme this month. Such lovely light pastels … reminding us that spring is soon to arrive  (hopefully, anyways!)

February’s design challenge is based on the colour palette below;

February16EventCover

The rules this month state that “Anything can be created for this challenge, including; finished jewelry pieces, headbands, wearable pendants/pins, handmade cards, lampwork beads, seed-bead art, sewing design, metal-smithing/art, paper crafting, clothing/fiber art, leather work, painting, even your favorite culinary delights (like cupcakes), etc. The sky is the limit! Show us how creative you are with our color palette.”

So, with that in mind … my submission is not jewelry related at all, but rather – vintage postage stamp/postcard images transferred onto stone tiles, and made into fridge magnets!
